Introducing Live Sessions — Your New Training Schedule Hub

A dedicated space for managing all your calls, on-site sessions and mixed sessions — with list and calendar views, timeslot bundling and full attendee management.

What is the Live Sessions section?

Live Sessions is a dedicated area in Innform for managing all your scheduled training — calls (online meetings), on-site sessions, and mixed/blended sessions. Previously these were scattered across Create > Training content. They now have their own home: Create > Live Sessions.

This gives admins a clear, focused view of everything that's happening in their training schedule, with powerful tools to manage bookings, attendees, and waitlists — all in one place.

Two ways to view your sessions

Upcoming list view

The default view shows all upcoming sessions sorted by date, with the next session always at the top. Each row shows the session title, type, host, date, time, and booking status (e.g. 1/1 bookings, waitlist count). Sessions with multiple timeslots are bundled together under a single row — you can expand them to see all available timeslots by clicking See other timeslots.

From this view you can:

  • Quickly scan your entire upcoming schedule in chronological order

  • See at a glance how full each session is

  • Assign learners directly using the + Assign button

  • Join a call directly using the Join Meeting button (for online sessions)

  • Switch between Upcoming and Previous sessions using the tabs at the top

Calendar view

Switch to the calendar view using the calendar icon in the top right. This gives you a weekly overview of all scheduled sessions, making it easy to spot scheduling conflicts, busy periods, or gaps in your training calendar. Click any session directly on the calendar to open the session detail overlay.

Clicking on any session or timeslot opens a side panel with full details and management options.

Overview & Prep tab

  • Session title, type, date, time and location

  • Host information

  • Session description and any preparatory materials

  • Edit button to update session details

Attendees tab

The Attendees tab gives you a full view of everyone connected to that timeslot:

  • Booked attendees — learners confirmed for the session, shown with their property/location. Their booking status is displayed (e.g. Assigned). You can edit or cancel individual bookings.

  • Waitlist — if a user limit has been set and the session is full, additional users appear on the waitlist. You can see who is waiting and manage their position.

  • Booking count — shown as X/Y (e.g. 1/1 bookings) so you can see capacity at a glance.

Managing attendees from the overlay

From the Attendees tab you can:

  • Cancel a booking — remove a learner from the session

  • Rebook — move a learner to a different timeslot of the same session

  • Promote from waitlist — move a waitlisted learner into an available spot

  • Assign new attendees — add additional learners to the session

Session types in Live Sessions

The Live Sessions section covers three types of training:

  • Calls — online meetings via Zoom, Microsoft Teams or a custom link

  • On-site training — in-person sessions at a physical location

  • Mixed sessions — used as part of Blended Learning paths that combine online and in-person elements

Filtering and searching

Use the filters at the top of the Live Sessions page to narrow down by content type, category, or brand. Use the search bar to find a specific session by name.
