Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a method of securing the access to your online Innform account. It requires users to provide two different types of information: The learner's username and password, and a time-based, one-time Password using Google Authenticator.

To enable 2FA for your users, follow these steps:

  1. In the admin section, go to Account Settings

  2. Click on the 2FA & SSO tab

  3. Check the Enforce 2-Factor-Authentication for all users setting

When a user logs in, they will require to input a one-time password which is generated by the Google Authenticator app. If the user has not yet set up 2FA, they are guided to do so in a few simple steps.

Once 2FA is set up, users are prompted with the screen below.

Learners can also enable 2FA from their account to increase security.
